Thomson Marsh

Thomson Marsh is a public park found in the Mission area of Kelowna. Sitting right next to a creek, it is a great spot for both people and wildlife to spend their day.

For the past couple of years we have collaborated with the City of Kelowna to enhance the park by creating a denser riparian strip that will provide better habitat and food for many of the parks residents.

In 2024 and 2025, with the help of over 40 volunteers, we were able to plant around 755 trees and shrubs around the marsh. These plants include: snowberry, wild rose, showy milkweed, red-osier dogwood, blue elderberry, native willows, and mountain alder.

You can also fine us at this park hosting various events, like Beginner Birding workshops, Invasive plant walks, and much more.
